Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
Christ Jesus makes this assertion right after Judas leaves to betray him (see vv. 21–30). The Savior already knows of his coming passion experience (see v. 1). Now signals his recognition that the final events leading to his crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension are set in motion—and that God’s glorification in His Son is confirmed.
