Eyelid problem overcome
Originally published in Spanish
It’s taken me some time to know that God loves me and to lean on Him in all things. Before, I had believed that He attends only to emergencies—that I shouldn’t bother Him with other problems. I even somehow believed that it was tantamount to a sin to turn to God for everything. Today, I am sure that He loves each one of us infinitely, that we are all precious to Him, and that He is our very present help.
About eight years ago, some little growths appeared on one of my eyelids. I went to a doctor, who examined me and told me that this required surgery, which would be expensive. He also said that there was no guarantee that the growths would go away completely, adding that the growths could develop on my other eyelid.
Instead of having surgery, I decided to talk to a Christian Science practitioner and ask for metaphysical treatment, or prayer. I had already had healings through Christian Science, and I thought it would be my best option.
