Practical examples

[Larissa Snorek, “The practicality of the resurrection,” Sentinel, April 3, 2023]

All the articles in the Sentinel are wonderful, and this editorial is especially marvelous. I loved the keynote quotation from Unity of Good by Mary Baker Eddy, “Rising above the false, to the true evidence of Life, is the resurrection . . .” (pp. 60–61). I kept underlining arresting phrases that included practical examples of daily resurrection through expressing spiritual qualities. There were gems I can use in healing treatment. The clincher was “Matter cannot entomb us or anyone,” followed by “A practical lesson of resurrection [is] that thought changes, becoming more fully aware of God as divine Life . . . .” Brilliant!

Just what I needed to hear

[Roger Whiteway, “Mobility pain gone,” Sentinel, March 20, 2023]

I thank Mr. Whiteway for his testimony. I was working with a Christian Science practitioner on healing a physical condition, and Mr. Whiteway’s statement “I was not my own idea; my identity was conceived, brought forth, sustained, and nurtured by God, not by me” completed my path to fruition. It was just what I needed to hear.
