Christ impels church work and brings healing

As a young newlywed, I was a regular churchgoer at a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. My husband would come along, and once received a quick healing through prayer after a doctor told him he needed an operation. The Christ was a divine influence moving our lives in the right direction. Regular attendance at Sunday services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings was a result of that dynamic force impelling us Spiritward. 

Mary Baker Eddy calls the Christ “the divine message from God to men speaking to the human consciousness” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 332). This message is winning. It’s persuasive. And it results in healing.

Some years ago I had an experience that proved tangibly that when the power of Christ, Truth, impels dedicated involvement with church activities, this can open the way for healing.
