Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.  —Matthew 7:7, 8

It’s easy to ask, and it’s easy to knock,
But to seek takes more work on our part.
Dig deep in your heart, and then you will find
All the strength to move forward and search.

For what shall we find in our diligent search
On the pathway, with Christ here to guide?
Our oneness with God, who has opened our eyes.
He will open the door when we knock.
