FREED FROM PAIN AND STIFFNESS

Late last year, I began to experience a troubling situation with my hands. What had started as a slight stiffness progressed to a point where my fingers were painful and curved in such a way that it was impossible for me to function freely.

I began to pray earnestly. It was natural for me to address the need for healing prayerfully, because through my study of Christian Science, I have learned that God's law of perfection is supreme throughout His creation, and that as His beloved child—made in His likeness—each one of us is eternally perfect and harmonious.

As the prayer prompted me to search my thoughts. I realized that I needed to claim my freedom from the influence of reports I'd heard about various ailments, the body, and disease, which are so widely circulated throughout the media.
