Prayer heals cold, eliminates pain
One evening I was experiencing cold symptoms during a concert. I endeavored to be as unobtrusive as possible, all the while praying to be receptive to the good going on. For several months I had been doing a great deal of extra prayerful work filling my consciousness with heal ing truths and valuing and defending my spirituality, so I wasn't about to accept this problem as true about me. It wasn't until I arrived home, however, that I realized that I had left the concert hall, walked a couple of blocks to the car in particularly cold, foggy, damp air, and travelled home without needing to attend to my nose again. I had been completely healed. How grateful I was.
A complete healing of the foot problem took place.
Some time ago I began experiencing pain in the arch of my foot. This went on for several months and was of concern to me, as it seemed to worsen. During this time I was willingly, lovingly, and gratefully obedient and disciplined each day in studying the Bible Lesson outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly. In addition I read two biographies of Mary Baker Eddy, which inspired a desire to strive for more healing in all aspects of my life. How grateful I am for the publications and broadcasts provided for humanity. A complete healing of the foot problem took place. These healings are wonderful proof to me of what Mrs. Eddy says in The People's Idea of God: "Because God is Spirit, our thoughts must spiritualize to approach Him,and our methods grow more spiritual to accord with our thoughts" (p. 7).
