Just after I turned seven I got a skin disease on my head and body. It was bad. My parents took me to the doctors and they called it psoriasis. Then I went to three other specialists and they said nothing much could be done except to try to control it.
Sometimes I would go to spend the night with my grandparents, and Grandmother would take me to the Christian Science Sunday School. I learned a lot about God and how He made us in His own image and likeness. My grandmother always said to me that God made us all perfect. My parents did not go to any church.
After about a year my grandmother asked my parents if they would like to get help through Christian Science, since the medical treatments were not helping, and they said "Yes." We stopped the medical treatments, and my grandmother called a Christian Science practitioner, who prayed for me. I thought it would work and God would heal me. And He did!

It is with much gratitude that I attest to my granddaughter's testimony.
Since her parents did not attend any church, I would take Cori and her sister to the Christian Science Sunday School as visitors whenever they would spend the night with us.
Her parents were discouraged at the progress of the medical treatments, so I explained to them that Cori did not have to "live with" this disease. God had made her perfect, in His image and likeness, and we needed to see this. They agreed to have treatment through prayer from a Christian Science practitioner. The healing became evident very quickly and has been complete, even though the medical profession had said it couldn't be cured, only controlled. What cannot God do!
The parents have gratefully acknowledged the healing in Christian Science. As we read in Isaiah: "A little child shall lead them"!
The girls are now enrolled as regular students in the Sunday School and love it. Every Sunday they borrow Christian Science literature from their Sunday School library to read during the week.
I am grateful for all the blessings that our family has experienced through the study and application of Christian Science.
