My first testimony was published in the August 25, 1962, Sentinel and included a healing of cancer in its last stages. My love and understanding of Christian Science have continued to unfold, and this has resulted in a healing of a heart condition.

At one time I seemed to be under a great deal of stress. Symptoms of heart trouble were very evident, and I became quite fearful. I called a Christian Science practitioner and asked her to help me through prayer.

One morning a few days later I woke thinking of this message from the Bible (Ps. 118:17): "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." I saw this truth so clearly that I was completely healed. I got up, dressed, and was perfectly fine. That was twenty-five years ago.

I have always been very grateful for the Christian Science Sunday School. Recently it was my privilege to serve as superintendent of the Sunday School in my branch church. In the past, my six children attended a Christian Science Sunday School until they were twenty years of age, and at present I have a grandson and a great-grandson attending.

As we grow in spiritual understanding and apply the truths we learn in Christian Science, we can become aware of the presence of God in our everyday experiences. I am so grateful for this Science.
