Once I was getting out of our car and my brother accidentally...

Once I was getting out of our car and my brother accidentally shut my fingers in the door. I screamed! My mother took me in her arms and carried me inside. She kept reminding me that an accident could never happen to God's child. My mother called a Christian Science practitioner. I was crying while she was trying to talk to him. My mom explained the problem and he promised to help.

When we were going upstairs for my nap, my mother told me to remember only what was really true about me as the child of God, and she asked me to put my hand behind my back so I wouldn't look at it.

I slept for an hour and a half, and when I woke up my fingers were perfect! I couldn't even figure out which hand had been hurt.

I also had a healing of a big wart on my toe. It completely disappeared because I kept remembering, when I was tempted to look at it: "It does not belong to me!" I am very grateful for this healing. It's wonderful to be a Christian Scientist!

With sincere gratitude I verify my daughter's account. This healing was the first healing she was old enough to remember. Although she was very small at the time, she recalls every detail.

The healing of the wart occurred while she was away at camp. We had specifically prayed about the problem, always insisting it was no part of her as God's perfect, unblemished expression. We rejoiced together when she returned from camp, free of the wart.

Our family has experienced countless blessings as a result of applying our understanding of Christian Science to problems. Knowing God as man's Father-Mother has released our children from limitations attributed to heredity, environment, and the states and stages of growing up.

It is truly a joy to be a parent when children are instructed and embraced in the Science of Christianity. My gratitude is unbounded.
