I wish to add my "Thank You, God" to the countless expressions of others who have been blessed by understanding, to some degree, the works of Jesus (his demonstration of Christ, Truth) and by following the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy.

I have always enjoyed and been uplifted by reading the testimonies published in the Christian Science periodicals. Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 66), "Trials are proofs of God's care." I humbly hope that the "proofs of God's care" which I have experienced will be helpful to others.

Several years ago I fell on a flight of marble stairs. My first thought was that man can never fall away from God. I needed no assistance in picking myself up and continuing to my office. As I walked down the hall, I declared scientific facts of God and man as we are taught to do in Christian Science (Science and Health, p. 475): "Man is not matter; he is not made up of brain, blood, bones, and other material elements. The Scriptures inform us that man is made in the image and likeness of God. Matter is not that likeness."
