"O give thanks unto the Lord;...make known his deeds among the people" (Ps. 105:1).

I found Christian Science when my need was great. Several kind specialists of the medical profession had said my condition was incurable and I could expect, at best, very limited activity. A nervous breakdown with many complications, a spinal curvature, and a digestive malfunction and a prolapsed stomach were parts of the diagnosis.

I asked a Christian Science practitioner for treatment. From the beginning there was progress in learning more of God and His divine idea, man. I moved to a new location and had help at different times from practitioners. My gratitude goes out to God, who always provided my thought with the eagerness and confidence to use what I was learning in my study of this practical truth. I was always encouraged by each practitioner to do this. Human reasoning was replaced by spiritual understanding, and healings followed. All symptoms of the disabilities vanished.

The first day I opened the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed of a long-standing case of chilblains. No thought of hurtful coldness remained when the warmth of infinite Love, God, was welcomed into thought.

In an ice-skating accident, when I was young, the end of my spine was injured. Through the prayer of a practitioner I learned to see myself as intact and whole, not touched by any material circumstance. All the symptoms and discomfort were healed, and normal action and freedom of movement restored.

My thought of supply has changed. Instead of being material and limited, supply has been demonstrated as spiritual qualities and ideas, reflected from Mind, God, ever present and inexhaustible. Discordant relationships have been harmonized as Love's sweet control has been welcomed into thought and expression. Business procedure has been raised to a higher level when I have seen it as the unfoldment of Love's activity. I have learned many needed lessons in serving a branch church and carrying on various duties, including those of First Reader.

I have felt the mother-love of God expressed by The Mother Church and its branches. For class teaching, faithful encouragement of family and friends, and very specially by Mrs. Eddy's sharing of the spiritual interpretation of the Master's words and works with the entire world, I am grateful.
