[Ability to demonstrate Christian Science comes with study and practice of the truth taught by Christ Jesus and revealed in Science and Health. This series touches upon some ways in which this truth can be applied.]

Healing by acknowledging the source and nature of spiritual freedom

Freedom is our birthright. The real man is free from material limitations, free from disease and lack, because his source is the infinite God, perfect and unfettered Spirit or Mind. His true identity reflects the freedom and harmony of boundless Truth and Love.

Mrs. Eddy writes: "God's being is infinity, freedom, harmony, and boundless bliss. 'Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.' Like the archpriests of yore, man is free 'to enter into the holiest,'—the realm of God." Science and Health, p. 481.

If the chains of pain and weakness seem binding, reject them as mesmeric illusions and vigorously claim your freedom as God's image. Because God is ever-present divine Love, all-space-filling, harmonious Truth, insist that there is no room for evil, God's opposite. Since He is the all-knowing divine Mind, affirm and realize that no mind exists that can know or feel disease. There is no mortal consciousness anywhere that can harbor limiting, binding beliefs about man's identity and action.

Reject the generally held belief that man is organic, confined in matter. Know and affirm with conviction and gratitude that every facet of your being is spiritually mental. You are an infinite embodiment of right ideas, free from the bonds of fear, sin, and medical theories.

Joyously claim the freedom of your true being in God, the one real Mind. Thank Him for His allness, His love, His boundless goodness and tender care. Thank Him for creating you in and of Himself, and causing you to know the perfection and freedom of your life in Him.

Stay with these freeing facts. Vigorously and happily claim them for yourself, and you will destroy disease and demonstrate health.
