Work Without Pressure

Many of us know the feeling of being under pressure in our work. We may feel that we have too much to do, that we just cannot cope with all our work or do all that is expected of us. But we can be free.

What actually comprises our work? Humanly it may appear to be manual labor, a matter of physique, or may entail much wearisome travel. Or it may appear to be a matter of brainwork in an office or laboratory. But these appearances are deceptive.

The fact is that no work can be well done without intelligence. This intelligence, Christian Science explains, is not a personal achievement or possession. Its source is not brains or brawn. It is the reflection of the one and only Mind, or God, the Principle of the universe.
