Stubborn Problems Can Be Solved

At one time or another most students of Christian Science have been temporarily stymied by a difficult problem. Even our best efforts to apply the truth of God and man seem fruitless. The trouble stubbornly resists treatment. It just hangs around and won't go away.

What do we do next? Become impatient and give up? Or if the problem is a form of disease do we succumb to the suggestion that Truth has let us down, and then reach out for material help? No, the trouble must be met head on with greater faith and understanding. The writer of the book of Hebrews puts it forthrightly: "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise." Hebr. 10:35, 36;

God, divine Love, never lets us down, for, in fact, we are His very self–expression. He is infinite divine Mind who includes us within Himself. We are His ideas, His thoughts, and we are inseparably one with Him in substance, life, intelligence, and action.
