AGELESSNESS

Yesterday youth ran away—
flung to the wind its pride, and sobbed and cried;
then ran away and left me
in maturity, and I cried, too—
it was the only thing that youth could do!

But oh, today, I have found Truth!
And neither adulthood nor youth
can register with me;
I am involved to such degree
in bearing joy, and holiness, and love—
and flowering in eternity!
