Over a long period of years I have received many blessings and healings through Christian Science. One day while standing on a gabled tin rooftop to trim a tree, I slid over the edge and fell to the ground. Thoughts relative to Christian Science flashed through my thinking like lightning as I was falling. I landed upright with my feet between latticed roots of the tree that were above ground. Other than experiencing a slight jar, all was well.

While in a jungle overseas, I took the wrong trail on the return to camp one evening and lost my way. It was getting dark, and I was without food or sleeping gear and was fearful of spending the night in this situation. I turned to God in prayer, acknowledging Him as the one Mind always guiding man. This acknowledgment of our Father-Mother God caused me to turn around and head in the opposite direction. The secure feeling I had at this moment I shall never forget. I soon reached my goal at dusk. "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Prov. 3:6).

Recently, while I was in a similar location in a different country, infections appeared on my hands, which were not healed after weeks of prayerful effort on my part. When the opportunity came to enter a city, I cabled home for treatment from a practitioner. On the day following, when the cable was received by the practitioner, the infections stopped spreading and in a short time cleared up completely, new nails growing in the place of the ones which had been infected.

I have also been healed of the smoking habit of many years' standing. The desire to smoke has never returned. I am sincerely grateful for Christian Science.— Richard R. Wirth, Coral Gables, Florida.
