Christian Science has been my way of life for over twenty-five years. The following Bible verse has helped me these many years (Josh. 1:8): "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

I should like to relate two physical healings that prove the healing efficacy of Science. Shortly after I was married, a swelling developed in my feet, and I could not go to work because I was unable to wear shoes. I called a practitioner and notified my employer that I was having Christian Science treatment. The practitioner told me that I must work prayerfully to obtain a better understanding of God.

In three weeks I was healed permanently of the foot condition. During this three-week period, I gained a better understanding of God by studying the weekly Lesson-Sermon, made up of citations from the Bible and from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which are set out in the Christian Science Quarterly. Also I studied Mrs. Eddy's other writings and read one of her biographies.

The other healing occurred three winters ago. I was accidentally struck in the ribs and suffered great pain. At this time I declared there is no accident in Mind. Because I was in process of doing a kindness for someone, these words of Mrs. Eddy came to me (Science and Health, p. 384): "God never punishes man for doing right, for honest labor, or for deeds of kindness, though they expose him to fatigue, cold, heat, contagion."

Upon returning home I could not bend over without experiencing pain. A Christian Science practitioner was again asked for help. On the eighth day the healing was complete, and I have experienced no further difficulty from my side. There was no time lost from my work.

Recently class instruction has proved a valuable avenue for spiritual progress. I am grateful to God for Christ Jesus, the Wayshower, and for Mrs. Eddy, who discovered Christian Science.—Charles William Felber, Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

I witnessed the healings described in my husband's testimony, and they took place as he has stated. Christian Science has met my own needs for physical healing from my earliest childhood, and its application has also enabled me to complete my schooling, progress in the business world, establish a harmonious home, and enjoy abundance of good.
