I am happy to share my gratitude for the protective and healing power of divine Love, as revealed in Christian Science, by telling about two opportunities that I had to demonstrate it.

At the end of one vacation I decided to return to college on my motor scooter. In preparation for the journey I prayed as I had been taught to do in the Christian Science Sunday School. In the Bible I read of God's infinite love and care for His children, and from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy I read (p. 369), "The prophylactic and therapeutic (that is, the preventive and curative) arts belong emphatically to Christian Science, as would be readily seen, if psychology, or the Science of Spirit, God, was understood."

The day arranged for traveling dawned cold and rainy; but I set off confident of the protection of omnipresent divine Love. On the journey I sang hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal, and one verse from Hymn No. 53 which I repeated to myself several times reads,
