"The vesture of Life is Truth"

"If one desires to appropriate the whole garment of Life, he will follow the Christly pattern"

Many people were healed as Christ Jesus walked among them, so aware was he of man's oneness with unchanging Life and his inseparability from this Life as its spiritual reflection. Looking no higher than the personality of the man Jesus, some credited his healing activity to his bodily presence; others attributed it to the seamless robe which he wore. Jesus refuted such materialistic reasoning and carefully directed thought away from his corporeal selfhood to the Christ, which he presented. To the woman who glimpsed this Christ and was healed as she touched the hem of his garment, he said, "Daughter, ... thy faith hath made thee whole" (Matt. 9:22).
