It is with great joy that I give the following testimony, which shows how the understanding of the truth leads us to success.

In December, 1954, my entire face was covered with a rash. I owned a copy of the textbook, Science and Health. I read it as often as possible, and after five days the rash disappeared. I did not consult a doctor or apply any remedies, but relied entirely on what Christian Science teaches —that man is made in the likeness of God.

At one time the rash reappeared over my entire body. Then I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help, which was at once lovingly given. Those around me talked a great deal about doctors and medicine, but I remained deaf to all that was said. To me, there was only One who could help me, namely God, the Almighty, who heals all our diseases and whose hand had so often saved me in times of peril. To Him I owe boundless gratitude. Months passed before the final healing took place, but I am happy now to express my gratitude for it.

At another time I was healed of a crushed foot. For nearly three months, I could walk only with the aid of crutches. But throughout this time I read with consecration the Bible and the textbook. I did not call a doctor. Smoking and drinking were also overcome without difficulty.

These healings and blessings bestowed by divine Love, which protects and guides all of us, are only a few of those I have experienced. Each day I pray that I may be a more genuine and sincere Christian Scientist. For all the good I have received through Christian Science, I express herewith my sincere gratitude.—Guillermo Meier, Villa La Angostura, Neuquén, Argentina.
