When first Christian Science was presented to me, I had suffered from hereditary bronchial asthma for as long as I could remember. I had suffered from acute nasal catarrh, headaches, backaches, and a severe internal difficulty aggravated by the attacks of asthma. Gradually these diseases have been eliminated through my constantly turning away from matter, or the body, to Spirit, God, the source of all good.

For the benefit of those whose struggle may seem long, I say, "Take heart, for divine Love can never be conscious of discord, because in reality we reflect the one infinite, divine Mind." In my own case, I not only had to stop looking back on a sickly past, but had to endeavor to realize that "now are we the sons of God" (I John 3:2). With these every vestige of a pigeon breast and abnormal shoulders gave way to normality.

As my understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him has unfolded through the years and as I have gained the spiritual sense of home, a happy marriage, employment, supply, and God-given dominion are continually being experienced.

For all the lovely healings, quick or slow, I give heartfelt thanks to God for Christ Jesus, the Wayshower, and for Mary Baker Eddy, our beloved Leader, for their unselfed love for mankind.

I am very happy to corroborate my husband's testimony and to share in his many blessings. It has been a joy to me to see his progress in Christian Science and to see the physical results, which are so apparent.

I too have been blessed through my knowledge of Christian Science and have had many healings through its application. One healing occurred when the fingers of my right hand were caught in a self-locking car door. When my hand was released I covered it and began declaring the truth. In a short while all pain vanished, and my hand was completely free from any evidence of the accident.
