I am sincerely and humbly grateful for the many blessings I have enjoyed through the study and application of Christian Science. Its healing efficacy is unfailing when its rules are correctly applied.

Many years ago I had a physical disorder, an infected prostate gland. At times it was most discomforting and painful. However, I read a testimony in the Sentinel written by a man who had had the same condition, and he had been healed through Christian Science. This strengthened my hope that I too could be healed.

As I made an effort to realize constantly the allness of God and the nothingness of error and to spiritualize thought, I began to see that the man of God's creating is perfect and immortal right now. The healing was slow, but through prayer and with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, it was uncovered that at the root of the trouble was much latent resentment. I learned that I needed to see myself and my fellow men spiritually.

In this connection two statements helped to effect a complete healing. One of these statements was from the Bible (Job 42:5), "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee." The other was from Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy (pp. 476, 477), "Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals." The healing has been permanent.

During the past nine years we have moved six times. These changes have meant re-establishing my business, moving my family, and making the demonstration of home in each community to which we have moved. We have three children, and many times the adjustments were difficult. However, I knew that with God nothing is impossible, and we have all gained through these experiences. It was an opportunity for spiritual growth and to prove our understanding of Christian Science through the realization that we actually live and move and have our being in God, Spirit.

As we have continued to know that God's ideas are ever in their right place and as we have expressed gratitude, we have been brought through each move harmoniously with the successful establishment of business and home.

I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good, for Christ Jesus, our Exemplar, and for Mrs. Eddy, our revered Leader, for giving us the healing truth. Also I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church and for class instruction.— Matthaeus Seeger, Lodi, California.

It is with humble gratitude to God for Christian Science that I wish to verify the foregoing testimony of my husband. I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for bringing to the world this liberating Science that heals and comforts.

I had a quick healing of broken bones in my wrist through the help of a Christian Science practitioner. Also I had a healing of headaches when I saw clearly that man is the perfect image and likeness of the one perfect God.

Recently I slipped and fell on the front porch of a neighbor's house where several neighbors were gathered. I injured my ankle and could not move right away. The angel thought came in words from Science and Health (p. 283), "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action." Immediately the pain left, and I could walk freely.
