Having proved many times the power of God through Christian Science and having enjoyed the testimonies in the periodicals, I should like to express my gratitude by adding to them some of the healing my family and I have experienced.

I was led to Christian Science through a lecture card in a store window. The words "God is Love" were on the card, and they impressed me. I walked several blocks and then went back to read the small writing on the card. Later I attended the lecture, and then I knew that Christian Science was what I had been searching for. I started to read Science and Health and Mrs. Eddy's other works. When I finished, I was completely healed of chronic deafness.

My next healing was that of tonsillitis. Every spring this condition appeared, and I was told that only an operation could help me. When I had an attack, after I had taken up Christian Science and was in bed two days, a Christian Science practitioner was called for help. This was on a Sunday morning. The practitioner encouraged me to get up and attend church. I could not talk or swallow when I went into the church, but I came out healed. This was many years ago, and I have not had another attack.

Our son was healed of a dislocated hip in less than twenty-four hours. Ivy poisoning was healed through my reading an article in the Sentinel, and the condition never returned. Another member of our family was healed of a hernia. Help from a practitioner was given one afternoon, and the next afternoon the hernia was completely gone. Abscessed and running ears, which materia medica had called incurable, were also healed.

I am so grateful for our practitioners, who are always ready to guide and help us along the way. In addition, I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church and for class instruction.—(Mrs.) Teresa C. Sparrow, Baldwin, New York.
