I desire to testify to a healing that occurred in our family some time ago. It was my father's healing of epilepsy, which had caused us a lot of worry.

I became interested in Christian Science for myself and had no thought of seeing my parent cured. I had to have help for the drinking habit, which was getting too much of a hold on me; so I called on a practitioner for help. Also I began to study the Christian Science literature and to go to church. Science appealed to me from the very first, and I was freed from the liquor habit almost immediately.

Some years after this healing I noticed that my father was no longer manifesting any symptoms of the epileptic condition. When I recalled his previous experience I realized that the condition had been overcome just through my impersonal realization of the truth. In twenty years there were only two attacks of a mild nature and at widely spaced periods. I never cease to be grateful for this healing. Because of it I applied myself more diligently than ever to the study of the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy, for I realized that what we do in living Christian Science is for the benefit of the world.

I have had a great many healings in Science, but none of them were as important to me as the correction of my thinking.

I am thankful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for the writings our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, has given us, and for all the activities of The Mother Church. It is a sincere pleasure to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science.— C. Frank Iliff, Lawrence, Kansas.
