How wonderful it is upon awakening...

How wonderful it is upon awakening each day to establish in our consciousness the truth concerning God and man! In the Bible we read (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Although I loved the Scriptures from early childhood and was a regular attendant at an orthodox Sunday School, the passage quoted above was not satisfying until I began a systematic study of the Bible with our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. This study has proved to me beyond a shadow of doubt that our textbook is indeed the key which unlocks many precious treasures of the Bible so long hidden from the unenlightened thought.

I was grateful to find in my early study of Christian Science that it annihilates hatred, and I can honestly say that I now have no sense of hatred for anyone. Also, I early found that I had no faith in nor desire for any material remedy. I have relied on Truth for the healing of many discordant conditions. For the help of other Scientists along the way, I am grateful.
