I am very grateful for Christian Science and should like to relate how I became interested in it. During my childhood I had many attacks of sore throat and earache, for which I always used medical means as a remedy. These attacks continued even after I grew up and married.

One day when I was suffering from one of them my husband, who had heard of Christian Science, asked me if I would like to have help from a practitioner. I assured him that I would; so he brought a practitioner to our home. She gave me a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and asked me to read "the scientific statement of being" on page 468. This I did while she gave me a treatment. After she left I reread "the scientific statement of being" and tried earnestly to understand it. As I did so I was instantaneously healed, and I at once arose from my bed.

I marveled at my healing, but I did not take up the study of Christian Science until I needed help again. Then I remembered the seed that had been sown, and I earnestly began to study. Since then I have made many demonstrations of the truth as taught by Christ Jesus and explained by Mrs. Eddy.

I am indeed grateful to our Father-Mother God for Christian Science and for all our periodicals, which help to make the truth available to mankind. I have had many healings through the study and practice of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) M. Louise Case, Seattle, Washington.
