For having had a Christian Science background my entire life and for the power of Truth, I pen these words of gratitude. Many years ago I experienced an internal pain which came and went over a long period of time. Upon visiting a practitioner and asking for help regarding the difficulty, I had an instantaneous healing.

I have had protection and guidance when traveling by car. At one time our family car stalled on the highway several miles from the nearest garage. We were unable to repair the car, and it was necessary to leave it and attempt to find other transportation home. During this time I had been holding to the truth that God's idea, man, could never be stranded, for God is omnipresent. As I locked the car door unforeseen transportation was immediately supplied to the nearest garage. After the purchase of a necessary part, transportation back to our car was supplied from another source. In a few minutes the car was repaired, and we were again on our way.

With the aid of a practitioner my wife was healed of weakness and an internal displacement which had caused two miscarriages. We are grateful that we now have three children. We have had numerous proofs of divine guidance in the purchasing of homes and in other business transactions.

With the hope that it may help others, I should like to tell of the experience which prompted this testimony. I had worked for a company for three years and was then led to go into my own business in the same type of work. I had previously heard my former employer say that he would do everything possible to stop competition from moving in. Shortly after starting my business I received a summons to appear in court in about a week. I found that I was being accused of unfair business tactics and was being sued for a large sum of money. A practitioner was called, and with her help my wife and I worked in Science for the entire week. Each day brought new unfoldment and a clearer concept of the real man. Every fear and aggressive suggestion was met and overcome, and we realized the ever-presence of one God and one law.

The day before the trial, just as my wife and I were preparing to study the court case related by Mrs. Eddy, beginning on page 430 of Science and Health, the telephone rang, and I was notified that the accusation had been withdrawn. We shall always be grateful for the help and guidance of the practitioner in this case.

I am most thankful to God for spiritual growth, for Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, for Mrs. Eddy, our Leader, and for church membership.—Frank C. Edmunds, Chico, California.
