I thank God for all the blessings which have been heaped on me. In difficult situations I have found God an ever-present help.

In 1948 I was seized with violent headaches, and at the same time my sight was so affected that I could hardly see. My wife telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner, who helped me so lovingly that the presence of good was immediately felt. Because of my work, I was obliged to send for a doctor in order to have a medical certificate. I lost no time in informing him of my religious views, and I refused all medicine.

The doctor diagnosed the case as a cerebral hemorrhage. Though he respected my desire to have no material aid, he expected complications. At the end of three weeks I was healed. The doctor congratulated me on my religion and told me that in my case medicine would have had no power.

My gratitude for this marvelous healing is great. I am grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for her revelation of Truth. My thanks go also to the practitioner who helped me and to all my Christian Science friends.—Charles Saudan, Geneva, Switzerland.

Six years ago my mother had a stroke which paralyzed her entire left side. Three doctors said that she would be bedridden for the rest of her life. We refused to accept this statement, and I thank God that we were led to turn to Christian Science. With my mother's permission I called a Christian Science practitioner, who immediately took up the healing work. My mother was healed in a few months' time, and I am happy to say that the healing has been permanent.

During the period of her convalescence I asked many questions of the practitioner, all of which were answered lovingly and satisfactorily. The answers gave me much food for thought and impetus to study the works of Mrs. Eddy.

Through the wise guidance of the practitioner I started gaining in faith, and faith blossomed into understanding to the extent that I am now a member of The Mother Church and a branch church. I am very grateful for the activities in which I have been privileged to participate, and I know that with each duty I am opening my heart to the only way of life that can satisfy and bless mankind.

Many have been my blessings since I became a Christian Scientist, and I thank God for them. Spiritual rejoicing has brought good health and harmonious conditions both at home and at the office. My study of Science has opened new fields of endeavor. It has shown me that God has given me a place in His spiritual universe that nothing can usurp, and the security of that knowledge is unfolding new and joyous avenues of service to me. I gladly confirm my daughter's testimony with respect to the healing power of Christian Science. It is with gratitude that I say that the condition from which I was healed has never recurred. My daughter likewise has had healings through the help of a practitioner and through her own study and application of Science. The abundance of God's loving-kindness is making us aware of how much we have for which to be grateful.
