HAPPY HOME BUILDING

"Oh, give me the spot where affection may
dwell
In sacred communion with home's magic
spell!
Where flowers of feeling are fragrant and
fair,
And those we most love find a happiness
rare."

This longing and love for home, so beautifully expressed here by Mary Baker Eddy (Retrospection and Introspection, p. 18), is echoed in the hearts of all those who seek happy and peaceful homes. And in an effort to gratify it large numbers are today building and rebuilding homes. The Psalmist has given this valuable counsel to home builders (Ps. 127:1): "Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it." So, as mankind turn to the eternal builder, God, and recognize the importance of spiritual building, they will find happiness and peace.
