I am grateful for Christian Science, the truth that Christ Jesus taught and practiced for the benefit of all mankind. When I was a young man this Science healed me of a so-called incurable disease. That healing saved my life, for the doctor had said that he could not cure me.

I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner, who came to my home. Immediately I received spiritual enlightenment and gained a greater love for Christ Jesus and his blessed teachings. The next day there was very clear proof that healing was taking place. Continual improvement followed until the condition was completely healed, and there has never been a recurrence of it.

Some time later I suffered an attack of pleurisy in my left side. I took "Science and Health with Key-to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and read it for hours. The next day I went to work. That was over ten years ago, and I have never again had pleurisy; this is proof of the perfection of God's work.

An experience of more recent time was a healing of the prostate gland. Knowing how good God had been to me and how permanent had been the other healings, I called a Christian Science practitioner, who gave me help at once. In a few days I was well and back at work. There has been no relapse.

My wife and I thank God for the great work of our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, whose teachings lead us to the inspired Word of the Bible. For practitioners, Readers, and all who aid in the glorious work of our Cause, we feel much gratitude. We are more grateful than words can express for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and for the opportunity of serving through the activities of our Cause.—Roy Edward Myers, Burlington, Iowa.

I wish to verify the above testimony of my husband, as I witnessed the last two healings mentioned. I too have had several healings in Christian Science. One was that of a growth on the lower eyelid. I studied Science and Health, and within one week the growth drained and peeled off.
