For many years I have been benefited by reading the testimonies in our periodicals. I feel that the sharing of my own healing experience is long overdue. Christian Science was presented to our family when we were seeking a satisfying religion. Our first attendance at a Wednesday testimony meeting in a Church of Christ, Scientist, thoroughly inspired us. The testimonies so impressed us with their sincerity that we were led to further investigation and study of the truth.

Of our many blessings, the awakening to the source of all real being is, of course, the greatest. I was healed of constipation, which had troubled me since childhood. There were instantaneous healings of influenza, burns, and colds. At one time our car was struck broadside by another car on a busy highway. Although our car was completely turned around, we were not thrown from the seat or injured in any way. The damage to the car was repaired in time to keep an important engagement a few days later.

Probably the most inspiring experience was that in which I received guidance, confidence, and understanding at a time when I wished to go into business. Not only was I guided as to what kind of business to engage in, but through advertising in The Christian Science Monitor I was led to contact two fine people, whose help was cheerfully offered, even to the point of allowing me to come into their business office to observe and learn their procedure. Furthermore, as each problem presented itself, they lovingly offered help and advice. My business has proved both satisfying and harmonious and has adequately met my needs.

For the regeneration of character and for the ever-increasing understanding of Life and Love and of man's relationship to God which are coming to me through the study and practice of Christian Science, I am deeply grateful. Mrs. Eddy has indeed given us the pearl of great price in Christian Science. For the loving help that is given at any time of day or night by the practitioners, for membership in The Mother Church, and for the opportunity of serving our great Cause in branch church activities, I give thanks.—(Mrs.) Loretta B. I wish to verify with gratitude my wife's testimony, as I have shared some of the blessings she relates. The study of this great truth of Christian Science has blessed me immeasurably, lifting me out of a very inharmonious working condition and assuring me that God is our supply. The smoking habit of many years' standing was overcome, severe effects of a bee sting were instantaneously healed, and many other blessings have come to me, for all of which I am truly grateful. —Frederick Eugene Thompson.
