As a child I loved to go to Sunday school...
As a child I loved to go to Sunday school, but as I grew older I became very much perplexed about religious matters. The questions I asked my mother and the minister were never answered satisfactorily. I asked the same questions of Christian Science friends and was always given an answer which completely satisfied me.
I was always considered a sickly child and grew up to be a sickly young woman. Since taking up the study of Science and abiding by its rules, I have been freed from all these errors. This Science has been my only physician for over twenty-five years. Not only physical problems, but every problem that has presented itself has been met through Christian Science.
I should like to tell of a more recent demonstration. One morning while engaged in some church work, I stepped on a loose stone and fell forward, pinning my arm beneath me. I tried to rise but could not, and no one was in sight to come to my aid. I lay there feeling sorry for myself, thinking, "I was about my Father's business; why should this happen to me?" In an instant I realized I was making a reality of it. I turned my thoughts to God, asking for a clearer vision of the truth. I arose, walked the rest of the way to church, and completed my duties with no ill effects. The healing was permanent.
I wish to express my gratitude for the Christian Science Sunday School ant! for the privilege of having my son attend. I am very grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this wonderful Silence, which can and does supply our every need. I am most grateful for the loving practitioners, who are ever ready to help when called day or night. I count membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, church activities, and class instruction my greatest blessings.—(Mrs) Margaret Williamson, San Pedro, California.
