I am humbly grateful for a wonderful Christian Science healing which took place in our home some time ago. Our little daughter was stricken suddenly with what appeared to be a most severe physical malady. I do not know what name a physician would have given it. No part of the child's body could be touched without a scream of pain from her and her entire body, especially her face, was like that of one who had been in a terrible fire.

We turned unreservedly to Truth. A stanch and consecrated practitioner gave absent treatment and stood with us during every hour. She steadfastly upheld the torch of spiritual light, which reveals each of God's ideas as perfect and untouched by seeming discord. Even during the time when the mesmeric suggestion came that the child was slipping away, unwavering reliance on Truth was manifest. I feel that the strength needed to stand firm through this trial came to me as a result of the spiritual understanding I gained through class instruction in Christian Science from a consecrated teacher.

Human language cannot express our gratitude for the wonderful release and healing which came as the result of Christian Science treatment. The child was completely healed, and there was no period of convalescence. In a few days she was up and playing, her normal, happy self.

Before her readmittance to kindergarten, it was necessary that she be examined by the school physician. The skin had peeled from the child's body after the experience, and this condition was still somewhat in evidence when I took her to the school. The physician stated that the child was perfectly well, but that she must have been through a very severe experience.

How wonderful it is to know that through Christian Science, as discovered by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, each of us, now, can reach out and touch the hem of the Christly garment and be healed! —(Mrs.) Marcia M. Baker, Cincinnati, Ohio.
