In 1892, after seventeen years of invalidism and when the doctors had given her only a few hours to live, my mother was instantaneously healed in Christian Science. A friend of ours urged her to try Christian Science, and at my mother's request a practitioner was called. Within an hour's time my mother arose from her bed healed. This healing meant much to me, and since that time I have relied entirely upon this Science.

In 1917, I had a severe attack of adhesions of the bowels and abdomen. Through work done by a loving practitioner and my own understanding of God's love, I was healed in about two weeks' time.

We have had many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science in our home. One of these was the healing of serious injuries sustained when the wheel of a tractor I was using passed over the entire length of my body, pulling one of my legs out of the hip socket and breaking some ribs. I was alone at the time and unable to move. I declared the allness of God, and that His child could not be touched by an accident, for under God's law there are no accidents. I did not have the least bit of fear, nor did I suffer any pain.

When I did not come back to the house by dinnertime, my son started to search for me, and at three o'clock in the afternoon found me. A Christian Science practitioner was called and work was started immediately. It was believed by some that due to my age, which was seventy-three, I had little chance to live, and that if I did, I would be crippled for life. This was denied, and the truth was so clearly brought out that in five weeks I was up and walking everywhere. The healing was complete and has remained permanent. As a proof of this fact, my wife and I have since taken a sixty-day trip of over ten thousand miles by automobile, and I drove the entire distance.

I am very grateful for having had class instruction, and I wish to express my thanks to my teacher for his helpfulness. It is heartening to know that Mrs. Eddy's spiritual interpretation of the Bible is being accepted throughout the world.— Henry H. Drayton, Orchard, Nebraska.

It is with joy and thanksgiving that I verify my husband's testimony of healing. My mother was healed through Christian Science of a so-called incurable disease over sixty years ago, and all my life I have had nothing but Christian Science. It is my desire to prove my thankfulness by living and demonstrating the truth of God and man as taught by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health and her other writings.
