My heart is filled with love and gratitude for all the healings and blessings which our family has received from the study of Christian Science. Membership in The Mother Church, the privilege of serving in a branch church, and class instruction have laid the foundation of a right understanding of God and man.

Christian Science has brought us the right understanding of Love. The dear friends who turned my thought to God as divine Principle reflected such purity of thought that I was at once cognizant of the fact that they were beholding in me only the perfect man, whom God made. This was a great source of encouragement, and some time ago, when mortal mind seemed to becloud my consciousness of God's presence and power, I again experienced blessed liberation through the work of one knowing this truth of being in my behalf. My gratitude overflows that we have been so blessed by the unselfed love of many church members.

Through the consecrated work of a loving practitioner a member of our family was quickly released from a painful and contagious throat ailment. She asked us to maintain in thought "the scientific Statement of being" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 468) and read the Lord's Prayer. We did so, and anxiety was immediately replaced by many reassuring thoughts. We again had proof that disease is not in man. and that the acknowledgment of the truth, which corrects wrong thinking, effectively unveils the real. The healing quickly became evident and was complete, and none of us had any thought of contagion.

My husband, who is very receptive to Christian Science, has experienced marvelous protection in traffic and has applied the law of Love with healing results to discordant aspects of his business.

I shall ever be grateful for the loving teachers in the Christian Science Sunday School. They have led our children's thought into such clear perception of our Father-Mother God that they have been able to demonstrate this Science most successfully in their own affairs. As a result of this basic teaching, I am confident that through their obedience to God and devotion to Mrs. Eddy's teaching. Christian Science will be their physician and counselor all through their lives. We can recall numerous occasions when the Sunday School teacher has assisted the children to make their own demonstrations, thus overcoming colds, warts, impetigo, fevers, and cuts, and to do preventive work.

I am glad that Christian Science is a religion of overflowing good. when Truth is expressed through us, its blessing does not stop there, but attracts all with whom we come in contact. The entertaining of loving, healing thoughts for the whole world opens the way for the knowledge of God's peace and abundance. —(Mrs.) Peché C. Thomas, Miami, Florida.
