Progressive Proving

I know that Love is governing my day
Instead of foolish fear and human will,
And that I travel Life's eternal way
Instead of hurry's limiting treadmill;
That Spirit's joys inspire each task I do
Instead of lust for money, ease, or fame;
That man's Godlike perfection fills my view
Instead of what lack, sin, and sickness claim.
As Love thus rules my thought, and I trust Mind
Instead of regulating fellow men,
Progressively I gain the proof and find
Reality in good alone; for then—
Instead of the "instead of's"—I find good
Experienced as it is understood.
