Christian Science has been such a beautiful blessing to me that it is with a humble heart and deep gratitude that I offer this testimony.

My parents took up the study of Science at the time I was born, and it has been an ever-present help to me all my life. No matter what type of problem has presented itself—physical, mental, or financial—God's law has unfolded to me the healing truth of being. I am also very grateful for the wonderful protection I have received time and time again from disease and discord through the daily study and application of the Lesson-Sermon and our beloved Leader's writings. The truth has proved itself to be a preventive as well as a curative.

I should like to relate an instantaneous healing I had. One day while getting into the car my foot slipped between the running board and the curb, and I skinned my ankle bone quite severely. I passed the incident off rather lightly. The next day, after being on my feet all day, I found it almost impossible to prepare dinner. During dinner my husband and I declared the truth about God and man. proclaiming the allness of God and His omnipotence and denying the false beliefs of mortal mind. We knew that nothing could destroy or injure my understanding of perfect God and perfect man. After dinner I read from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and completely forgot the pain and discomfort. That night I slept peacefully, and the next day was free. The healing has been permanent. This is only one of the many blessings which I have experienced through the understanding of Christian Science.

I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. Great joy has come to me through church and Sunday School work. Sunday School teaching has helped me to understand more of God. For the wonderful privilege of class instruction, I am also unceasingly grateful.
