I wish to express my sincere...

I wish to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science and the many blessings it has brought into my life.

Our daughter, when twelve years of age, was afflicted with a peculiar difficulty in the form of extreme nervousness. She was under the care of a kind physician for a year or more, and we were then advised to take her out of school, give her plenty of air and sunshine, and keep her as happy as possible, in the hope that she would outgrow the complaint.

One day she expressed a wish that she might have Christian Science treatment, for she had heard her music teacher explaining to someone that this Science heals sickness without medicine. Upon inquiry we were given the names of the practitioners in our town, and selected one, who took up our daughter's case. In about six weeks she was completely restored to health, and went back to school again. There has never been a return of the trouble, and that was more than twenty-six years ago. Her children, two sons and a daughter, were brought up in Christian Science. The sons both served in World War II, one in the air service in France and one with the Marines on Guadalcanal, and both experienced marvelous protection through their application of Science.

The overcoming of pneumonia, acute appendicitis, a serious injury to a kneecap while skiing, the effects of a dog bite which exposed the muscles of the arm, and the restoration of a finger to perfect condition from a malignant infection are only a few of the proofs I have seen that Christian Science heals. Besides bringing physical healing, it is the Comforter, changing one's outlook on life and revealing the way to love God supremely and one's neighbor as oneself.—(Mrs.) Minnie G. Barlow, Muskegon, Michigan.
