It is with profound thanksgiving for the divine protection that has come to my family and me through Christian Science that I wish to share a healing which took place some fifteen years ago.

I was struggling with an illness known as goiter, which made it impossible for me to carry on with my work efficiently and which became so severe that my friends, acquaintances, and employer were quite concerned over my health. Through the application of the teachings of Christian Science, and with the help of a practitioner, this sickness was completely healed, proving that the power of God is the only power controlling man.

Prior to this experience I had become interested in the teachings of Christian Science, but was not a sincere student. This healing also proved for me the efficacy of absent treatment, for the practitioner lived in another state, which was more than three hundred miles away.

Since that time we have experienced many beautiful healings of sickness in our family, and have had many proofs of God's care.

I am deeply grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for class instruction, and for the privilege that our children have in attending Sunday school, which each has entered upon reaching the age of three years.

I give glory to God and loving appreciation to Christ Jesus and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.—Merrill L. Ward, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

With a heart filled with gratitude to God for the many blessings that we have received through our study of Christian Science, I corroborate the testimony of my husband.

Through our understanding of God we have been enabled to demonstrate many times and in many ways the wonderful uplifting and healing power of the Christ.

I am very thankful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the activities in which I am able to help; I am also deeply grateful for class instruction. I am thankful that, in a measure, I have been enabled to understand and apply this great demonstrable truth which Mrs. Eddy, through her inspired thought, has given to a needy world.
