I wish to express my very deep gratitude to God for Christian Science.

In the year 1931, my husband, who was wounded in the last war, entered a military hospital for his seventeenth operation. After six weeks he returned home, and in a few days was again in a very bad condition. When the pain in his arm seemed to be unbearable, I prayed, "God, please talk to me." I felt that I should hear His voice if only He would speak to me. It was then that a friend lovingly told me of her own experience, and of the healings which had resulted from her study of Christian Science and from Christian Science treatment. I shall never forget the peace which came to my troubled thought. I truly dropped "my burden at His feet." and bore "a song away."

To this friend I shall always be deeply thankful. Christian Science immediately brought greater freedom and harmony to my husband, and through the help of a practitioner he was healed.

I have been instantaneously healed of fallen arches. Realizing that if Christian Science is true, God supports my whole being, I removed the supports from my shoes, and I have never needed them since.

Our daughter has been healed of gastric influenza through the help of a practitioner. This healing was complete when I read Mrs. Eddy's words in Science and Health (p. 353), "The true idea of being is spiritual and immortal, and from this it follows that whatever is laid off is the ghost, some unreal belief."

I am grateful beyond words to Mary Baker Eddy. To our practitioners, who are always so willing to help us in our hour of need, I am deeply thankful. The literature brings measureless joy.—(Mrs.) Amy W. Hall, Sutton Courtenay, Abingdon, Berkshire, England.
