Our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, says on page 181 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "Mind, God, is the source and condition of all existence." This statement has made me realize why so much good has come into my experience since I heard of Christian Science. This Science was first introduced to my wife some sixteen years ago, when she had been condemned by a doctor to semi-invalidism. A Christian Science practitioner was consulted, and my wife was quickly restored to health. Naturally, I became interested and began to read the textbook and to study the Lesson-Sermon, as given in the Christian Science Quarterly. My health almost immediately improved and has continued to be good ever since, and I am now fitter than at any other period of my life. Despite the fact that, towards the end of the last war, I was declared by an army doctor to be a "C 3" man, suffering from heart trouble, I am very grateful to say that I have not been troubled with this difficulty since.

The last time I called in a doctor was when I was suffering from influenza and lumbago, just before I heard of Christian Science. I was kept in bed for about a fortnight and told that I should be liable to these attacks every year, and that I must take great care of myself. The symptoms have on occasions tried to manifest themselves, but they have been quickly checked, either by the aid of a Christian Science practitioner, or through my own understanding of the power of Truth, which never fails when properly applied.

I am very grateful for the protecting power of Christian Science. Every year, as far back as I can remember, I used to suffer from chilblains and headaches, but, although no special work was undertaken, these conditions have not been manifest since I began to study.

One of the greatest blessings which have come into my life is the knowledge that God is Principle, and that He governs all. This knowledge has changed my business life from one of drudgery to one of success. I am able to take all my problems directly to God for solution, and in this way my day's work is accomplished with joy. I am now in charge of an office with a staff of about forty clerks. I could not have accepted the appointment before I had this understanding of God.

I am grateful for the privilege of class instruction and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. My deepest thanks are due to Mrs. Eddy for her unselfishness in giving Christian Science to the world.—James F. Marsh, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England.
