I should like to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me in the last twenty-six years.

When I was told that God was my Father and my Mother, that I was His perfect child, and that God loved me, I was instantly healed of chronic constipation and heart trouble, from which I had suffered since childhood. It was like waking up from sleep. Everything had seemed to be wrong with me; among other things I was very stubborn. But Christian Science gradually wakened me from wrong thinking, until finally these errors were destroyed.

I am especially grateful for Mrs. Eddy's great love for mankind, and for the truth she has given us in her writings. Christian Science has been my daily bread and has supplied all my needs. I am very grateful for the literature, for the Reading Rooms, for the life of our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; also for membership in The Mother Church, for class instruction from a loyal student of Mrs. Eddy's, and for our faithful and consecrated Christian Science practitioners. Their loving help when we are taking our first steps in this Science and the love they pour out day and night to those who call on them for help are cause for great gratitude.
