All my life I have received benefits from Christian Science. "The scientific statement of being" from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 468), understood, has often helped me. At one time I awoke feeling very miserable. I declared, "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation" (ibid.), and I soon felt entirely well. At another time, when I realized the truth of the statement (ibid., p. 385), "Your sufferings are not the penalty for having broken a law of matter, for it is a law of mortal mind which you have disobeyed," I released myself from a mortal law which I had accepted, and at once felt free and well again.

I am grateful that I am learning to trust God more for all things, to be less selfish, and to relinquish human planning.

I have never had any illness of long duration. The problem of unemployment was solved when I endeavored to obey the Biblical command, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Protection from injury in an automobile accident resulted from my clinging steadfastly all morning to the Daily Prayer in the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy (Art. VIII, Sect. 4).
