I should like to express my gratitude for having come in contact with Christian Science.

In a time of great sorrow and affliction, when I was very miserable and depressed, I tried to find some relief from my suffering, but found nothing at all in materiality to satisfy me. In my great need I turned to God, and immediately comfort and joy came to me, and very shortly a good friend told me about Christian Science. I was at once willing to learn something of God, and I saw clearly that it was the truth.

When I had been attending church services for about six months, I had an almost instantaneous healing of diphtheria through the slight understanding I had gained; and I shall never forget the sweetness and freshness which filled the room where I lay. The peace of God was present.

Since then I have had many experiences of help in my work, as well as healings; I have been blessed with strength and joy and the solving of many hard problems.

My gratitude is greater than I can well express to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower; and to Mrs. Eddy, who through her great love for mankind has given us this final revelation. I should also like to express my gratitude for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, where I may serve God.
