I wish to express gratitude for all that Christian Science...

I wish to express gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. We had lost one little one and had been told by a specialist that there was no hope of rearing our other child, as she was suffering from a serious disease.

A friend told me about Christian Science and gave me some Sentinels. I thought the healings given in the testimonies were wonderful, and the articles were so beautiful in explaining God as Love that I knew this was a religion which would help me. I bought a copy of Science and Health and commenced reading. We put all material remedies away and our little one improved rapidly. Now she is a strong, healthy girl.

The first time I attended a Christian Science church I saw this text on the wall, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494), and I knew that if I went on seeking I should find the truth. At this time a sense of peace came to me such as I had never known before.

During the past fifteen years we have applied Christian Science to every problem. Some healings have been slow and some have been instantaneous, but looking back I am grateful for them all. I had many lessons to learn, but many faults of character have gone. I know that God will guide me into all truth. A few of the healings we have experienced in our home have been of sorrow, eczema, congestion of the lungs, coughs, colds, loss of voice, headaches, lack, constipation, and fear.

I am extremely grateful for the wonderful patience which practitioners have shown toward me, and to friends who have helped me to a better understanding of Christian Science. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church and for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school; for The Christian Science Board of Directors; for class instruction and for the unfoldment that has come through that experience; for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave this truth so simply that all may understand. Words can never express my gratitude; I can only strive to let my life prove my sincerity.—(Mrs.) Elizabeth Hannah Bennett, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
