One evening last week some boys came over to our house in Los Altos—sixteen-, seventeen-, eighteen-year-old boys. ... Sturdy, upright boys, from good American homes. Boys to be respected and admired for their stand in life.

They floored us for a minute. Just that. Said their spokesman, with no preliminary fumbling, "Do you like the Bible?"
