In an article appearing in your issue of January 18 under the heading "Chiropractic Health Talks" the following statement is made: "Chiropractic is distinct from every other method. It is not faith-cure, Christian Science, magnetism, electricity, osteopathy, hypnotism, or massage."

While the writer states, and correctly so, that Christian Science is distinct from chiropractic, he does not make it clear that Christian Science is equally distinct from faith-cure, magnetism, electricity, osteopathy, hypnotism, or massage. There is no connection whatever between Christian Science and any of the other methods mentioned in the statement quoted. Christian Science is a religion. It was discovered and founded by Mary Baker Eddy, and is based upon the Bible. Through its teachings the words and works of the master Christian, Christ Jesus, are made plain and demonstrable, and the divine power which Christ Jesus utilized in accomplishing his marvelous work is made available to all who are willing to strive for that Mind to be in them "which was also in Christ Jesus."
