Garden of Thought

The fertile garden of my thought
Is mine to tend with care,
And I can make a lovely thing
By planting beauty there.

Then let me sow there purity,
And gratitude, and love,
Keep down the weeds, and water it
With wisdom from above.

Soon in my garden there will bloom
Joy and serenity,
With fruits of harmony and peace
On each deep-rooted tree.
