Annual Meeting of The Mother Church

THE Annual Meeting of The Mother Church was held on June 3 in the church edifice. Included in the audience, which filled the auditoriums of the original Mother Church and the Extension, were many who had journeyed from far distant lands in order to be present on this notable occasion. Never has there been manifest at the annual gathering of the members of The Mother Church a greater degree of interest in its affairs, and all present listened intently to the reading of the reports which told of the continued growth of the movement in a variety of activities carried on in practically all civilized lands throughout the earth. Particularly pleasing were the reports of increased activities of the Lecture Board, of the Publishing Society, and of manifold benevolent affairs of the church.

After the singing of hymn 178, "Saw ye my Saviour?" by Mary Baker Eddy, the retiring President, Dr. Frank C. Colby, C. S., read selections from the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" as follows:

Bible
Psalms 1:1-3
Psalms 37:29-31
Psalms 78:1-5, 7
Hebrews 8:10
